Flyleaf’s cover of “What’s This?” is perhaps my favourite rendition of the Nightmare Before Christmas track. It seems to me that Lacey Sturm’s performance perfectly expresses that wry surprise at finding out that things can be different and that hopeless hope that life can be changed.
